Many years ago, I stumbled across this rather wonderful infinitely adjustable sculpture. Its striking appearance meant it soon became a talking point in the meeting room at RG HQ – so I wanted to share it with you!

Created by Richard X Zawitz, the Tangle is a movable structural form based on the concept of infinity; It has no beginning and no end. It is a series of 90-degree curved sections, jointed together and able to pivot at each point so it can be easily twisted, turned and bent into different shapes. Be warned, once you pick it up, you won’t want to put it down!

The company (Tangle Creations) began some 33 years ago, based on the concept of “Creativity for All”. Over 100 million of the sleek sculptures have been sold worldwide to-date and they are now becoming recognised for their medicinal properties. If you haven’t already heard of it, Tangle Therapy is a new ergonomic approach to stress and pain relief. Tangle Sculptures have been issued a “Medical Device Establishment Registration” for the following: Stop smoking aid, removes minor stress & anxiety, improves range of hand motion, restores motion of joints, improves muscle performance, strengthens finger muscles.

Of course, I didn’t buy it for its stress capabilities; I bought it because I thought it looked amazing!
