With their covetable edit of furniture and home accessories for modern and urban living, The Conran Shop has always been a firm favourite of mine. Founded by Terence Conran back in 1974, the Conran name has established itself as a brand synonymous with all areas of design – they source products from some of the most iconic and up-and-coming designers from around the world so I make a point of visiting whenever I’m in London!
On one of my frequent trips back in the 90’s, I stumbled across this amazing sprung wire postcard & photo holder. It was its innovative and minimal design that first struck me and I love it as much today as I did fifteen years ago. It’s simple, elegant and completely adjustable and makes displaying photos and postcards so easy. Annoyingly, I only bought one at the time and have never managed to find anything similar since.
